Coombs Veterinary Hospital is seeking another Veterinarian!

We are currently a very busy 2 Veterinarian practice located in the middle of Canada's beautiful Vancouver Island. We provide primary care and emergency services to dogs, cats, and small exotic mammals (mostly rabbits). We pride ourselves in staying up to date with the latest technological advances, and are currently the only clinic on Vancouver Island offering Laparoscopic services. We also have in-house blood work, radiographs, ultrasound and endoscopy. We offer a wide variety of surgical procedures from routine castration to orthopedics and abdominal procedures.

We are looking for someone who enjoys a low-key, fun team environment. We are more than happy to mentor and teach and will provide above average Continuing Education benefits to foster growth in your areas of interest. We offer comprehensive medical/dental benefits and competitive wages. Evening and weekend shifts may be needed, but no on-call services required, as all after-hours cases are sent to the local Emergency Hospital in Nanaimo. 4 or 5 day/week scheduling available. Candidates must have, or be willing/able to, complete the NAVLE licensing exam and local British Columbia licensing requirements.
