Veterinary Surgeon Small Animal  - 2 years or more experience required.

Our Client is a friendly small animal veterinary practice in Buckinghamshire.  They are currently looking for a veterinary surgeon who is able to work unsupervised and able to carry out all general and routine procedures and surgery. Candidates would need to be able to work sole charge when covering the weekend rota. There are NO OOH. This is a VN training centre with 5 vets, 5 nurses and 5 receptionists. Appointments are 15 minutes long.  Clinic facilities include a theatre suite, dental suite, digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory and endoscopy.  Your would see a good variety of cases and be able to build up your own Clients. It's a 'comfortably busy' practice and usually have the opportunity of 2/3 operations per day.  This is a full-time permanent position - working on average 4.5 days per week. Weekend rota: 1:5. (Sat: 9-5, Sun:11-4)  

The practice also have their own boarding kennels, cattery and dog grooming parlour on site which makes for an interesting place to work.

CPD is encouraged and funded. Certificate - highly encouraged and supported. The ideal candidate will have an excellent work ethic and a friendly understanding attitude towards clients as client interaction is key. Special interests are welcome and encouraged. Orthopaedic experience would fit in well along with excellent people skills and consult ability. Accommodation is available if required.
