Adelaide Vets is currently looking for a full time RVN to cover a minimum of 9 months maternity leave at their practice in Sandy, Bedfordshire. The position will include working 40 hours per week with the occasional Saturday 9am-12 noon. Saturdays will be paid or time given back in lieu. The ideal candidate will be an experienced RVN who enjoys the challenge of organising a practice and working alongside the clinical director and practice manager. A clinical coach is required but training can be given if needed. A practice manager, two vets, a clinical director, two student nurses and a receptionist currently support the practice. The practice is a newly refurbished, small animal first opinion practice with two consult rooms, prep, theatre and lab. Equipment includes digital x-ray, ultrasound, air-driven dental machine, drip pump, blood pressure monitor, pulse oximetry, Idexx laboratory machines, anaesthetic machine with Humphrey ADE circuit and Sevoflurane/Alfaxalone/oxygen concentrator. The practice can offer 28 days holiday (20 days + bank holidays), £500 CPD allowance, RCVS fees paid, pension scheme, Cycle to Work scheme and access to ‘My Benefits’ website.
