We are now looking for a RVN to join our dedicated team in our busy, modern, well-equipped hospital. You would be working with vets who accept medical, emergency & critical care, acupuncture and ophthalmology referrals. Our nurses work in all areas of the practice including; wards, theatre, diagnostics, consulting and reception on an equally shared basis and also share the overnight residential on-call rota on approximately a 1 in 10 basis. They are also supported by an administrative and domestic cleaning team. We look for commitment, a passion to offer the best care to patients and their owners, and a drive to build nursing and organisational skills and participate in the management of delivery of care and in marketing activities. Salary will be according to experience but starting salary for a newly qualified VN is currently £18,000 per annum with progression onwards from there and fully funded CPD. The working week is 37.5 hours plus on call and a day off after nights on duty. Are you interested in this role, but not quite qualified yet? A second year student may also be considered.
