The VMG is hitting the road!
Fasten your seat belts, as the VMG will be travelling around the UK spreading the word about the new data protection legislation (GDPR) and how to approach credit control!
This May, there will be an important change in legislation surrounding data protection in the EU when GDPR is introduced. To help veterinary practices and individuals prepare for the changes ahead, The VMG (Veterinary Management Group – previously the Veterinary Practice Management Association, VPMA) will be hosting a national roadshow in association with debt-recovery agency, DSL.
With the law surrounding data protection set to change in the EU from 25th May 2018, it’s vital that veterinary practices and businesses are prepared. Do you know what to do with your customer’s data? Or, what the implications are regarding credit control and the use of third-party agencies to collect payment on your behalf? It’s vital, come May, that you can comply, as failure to do so could result in hefty financial penalties.
The VMG’s roadshow on ‘Practical Credit Control & New (GDPR) Data Protection Regulations’ is open to all to attend (for more information visithttp://events-by-vmg.co.uk/roadshows/). Content will include vital information on the following need-to-know topics:
