We require an experienced vet at our RCVS Tier 2 Accredited/VNTC independent mixed practice (50% FA, 10% Equine, 40% SA) with modern, well equipped premises (incl. digital x-ray, LA & SA ultrasound scanners, K-Laser, Vetscan 2) on the Shropshire/North Wales border (Shrewsbury 15 miles, Chester 20 miles).

Blakemere Vets has been established for over 25 years and we have an experienced, friendly and dedicated team of vets, nurses and reception staff (6 vets, 1 RVN, 1 TVN, 6 reception and admin staff) who are committed to providing a high quality veterinary service to our clients which includes an in-house 24-hour emergency service. 

Our large animal work covers a radius of 15 miles and comprises approx. 60% family owned dairy farms, 20% beef and 20% smallholders and pedigree sheep. We carry out TB testing in Shropshire and North Wales. Equine is first opinion ambulatory, mainly pleasure horses. Small animal is first opinion with the usual range of routine operations and referral of complex cases elsewhere.
