An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Veterinary Surgeon to work between our Rayleigh, Basildon and Laindon practices based in the Southend region.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and be confident working sole charge. We offer excellent long term prospects for the right candidate, with advancement in skills and specialism actively encouraged.
Experience working in an environment where colleagues support you by sharing skills and knowledge to give our patients the best outcomes. You will experience a varied caseload at both of our practices which are fully equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, multi-parameter monitors and much more!
This role covers 39 hours a week over 4 days, offering a great work-life balance.

Skills and Experience
You must be a registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS.
As this is a mobile role, a full driver's licence is essential.
Our practices in the Southend region are supported by Medivet 24 Hour Southend, which extends their access to a variety of further services, including Ultrasound, CT Imaging and MRI. This practice a drive away from the famous Southend Pier and a multitude of shops, restaurants, bars and shopping centres - some of which are included in our retail benefits!
This role will be based at Medivet Rayleigh. This practice offers a range of services for their patients, including microchipping, neutering and vaccinations. The team consists of a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, a Head Nurse and a Student Nurse.
