Description | I'm proud to be recruiting on behalf of this lovely private practice in the heart of Wiltshire. My client has asked me to find a vet looking for a longer term temporary position to cover maternity leave with the possibility of permanency in the future depending on business requirements. Initial contract is expected to last 9 months. The practice is well equipped with all the usual toys for first opinion work and the successful candidate will be working alongside 5 other vets ably supported by a team of experienced nurses and admin staff. Whilst the practice do have some large animal clients, this role would suit a small animal vet and those with a particular interest in surgery and experience with ultrasound will have an advantage. The right candidate will have UK practice experience, excellent communication skills and a caring attitude towards both clients and patients. You will be keen to maintain the highest levels of clinical work and deliver excellent service to your clients. Generally quiet on call rota of just 1:5, 4.5 day working week (with an extra half day after a duty weekend) and mainly 5pm finishes. CPD encouraged and funded. The practice may be able to offer accommodation, salary commensurate with experience. For more information in complete confidence, please call Pete on 01803 529419, email your CV to pete@careervets.com quoting ref 715 ...Read about other happy job seekers here: http://www.careervets.com/17-2/ | |
