We are seeking to employ a hard working new or recent graduate with a passion for equine to join our team. 

An 18 month position is available, initially assisting experienced clinicians with diagnostic lameness and medicine investigations, both out on the road across East Sussex and within our equine clinic based in the heart of Sussex.

After 18 months, we would expect the successful candidate to be a competent equine Veterinary Surgeon and have skills to include equine radiography, ultrasonography and lameness diagnosis, abdominal ultrasonography, gastroscopy, endoscopy and anaesthesia.

This will be a fully supported role with back up from our experienced veterinary team, with a   1:3 out of hours rota, clinical duties including inpatient care, assisting senior Vets in the clinic and ambulatory work. 

Competitive package includes mobile phone, use of a practice vehicle, RCVS, VDS and BEVA fees.  The successful candidate will be enrolled on the XLVets Equine New Graduate Scheme and get the opportunity to visit other practices within the group, gaining exposure to the hugely varied caseload that equine veterinary medicine has to offer.
