We are looking for a New Graduate Vet to join our 2-site Small Animal Practice

Our philosophy is to provide the best standard of Veterinary care possible, with excellent clinical standards and client care.

Our practices are modern and well-equipped with in-house endoscope, ultrasound and digital x-ray. Where possible, we try to keep referrals in-house to vary caseloads.

We have a friendly team of varying experience across both sites, and we are always willing to support our peers. We have previously supported two new graduate vets, one of whom is now a certificate holder. We currently have 3 certificate holders in internal medicine, one in ECC and one studying for a certificate in our team, not forgetting our wonderful team of RVN's and support staff including a dedicated Practice Manager, patient care assistants and receptionists. An Orthopaedic surgeon visits us to carry out surgery when needed.

You will be enrolled onto our complete two year graduate programme. This programme has been designed by experienced vets and will fully support you during your first two years in practice.

You will receive a starting salary of £31,000 rising after year one, then again after year two to £36,500 (plus the chance to earn added bonus) as well as:

• 10 CPD days per year covering both clinical and non-clinical skills with a selection of days that you can choose from to suit you, your interests and your role within practice.
• A committed and trained clinical mentor offering regular meetings to support your transition from student to qualified Vet.
• The option to undertake short term externships in OOH at our dedicated ECC centres and/or specific disciplines at one of our referral hospitals
• The opportunity to mentor future graduates, undertake a fully funded certificate, remain where you are and continue to develop into an outstanding GP, or pursue a different career path in referrals, laboratories, or a non-clinical role after you have completed the scheme.
