The Role

We are seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to join our practice in Kentish Town, London. This role is suited to a confident nurse, who thrives in a fast-paced environment - we are considering both RVNs or 3rd year students, soon to qualify. The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the leading the nursing team. You will be keen to support and develop our student nurses and not be afraid to get stuck in with the duties and lead by example. You will be fully supported within your move and we will offer full management training with our dedicated in-house internal training team. You'll have a friendly and positive attitude and want to progress and expand your knowledge and skills further. Strong mentorship and support will be available to help you develop your career and get the most satisfaction from your job.

The Branch

Medivet Kentish Town is a small but very busy practice equipped with one consult, theatre, in-house lab, x-ray, dentistry facilities and feeds into our 24-hour hospital in Clerkenwell where the exceptional care for your patients is continued out-of-hours. The successful candidate will be joining a great team made up of 1 vet with additional part-time vet and three nurses. Here, you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties, sharing best practice with your team and supporting the student nurses and PCAs in your team. This practice is excellently situated in the heart of Camden with an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep. It's also close to several tube and over ground stations.
