We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team as Head Veterinary Nurse at our practice based in Dartford.

You will be involved in all aspects of nursing. Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required.

About the Practice: Dartford is a modern and well-equipped 24-hour veterinary practice. We have amazing facilities, including our digital X-ray, separate cat and dog wards, orthopaedic theatre, ECG, dentistry and much more. The practice is a seven nurse team with two full reception staff as well as a part-time Client Care Assistant. In addition, there there are two night nurses and vets that work one week on and one week off so plenty of support is on hand!

About the Role:

The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the day-to-day running of the practice.

This role provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team. In this role you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practice with your team and helping to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.

You will be working 40 hours per week with the standard 1 in 4 weekend shifts as well as a fair share of bank holiday and on call. What we’ll offer you:
