2 Newly graduated Vet vacancies within large group of practices based around the Newcastle, Darlington and surrounding North east area.
This multiple branch practice which boasts a 24 hour hospital hub, are looking to mentor 2 new graduates this year, they have a couple of options within the practice, both of which would provide a solid grounding in your first years experience.
1 role would be based in a single site and would be under the mentorship of the clinical director who is progressive and has a keen interest in surgery, with 3 other vets, this would be a 4 day week with NO OOH’s and 1:3 Saturdays, with the possibility of joining the Sunday Rota for the hospital if you wish.
The other position would suit a more confident graduate who is keen to see and experience a wide range of cases and environments. Essentially a floating team member, who would spend time across different practices, giving you a tremendous exposure to lots of different surgical hubs and different mentors.
This would also be a 4-day week with 1:3 Saturdays and 1:4 Sundays, there are NO OOH’s but there is a light rota of 1:18 second on call.
This position works on the idea that you would move around for 4 weeks on a rota and then spend a week off rota on CPD and development
