The position is based in Lancashire and the client is looking for a candidate to support the surgery in many ways. It would ideally suit an applicant with some experience however support can be given to the right candidate until reached sole charge competency. 5 Day working week with, 2/3 days at the other sites depending on rota requirements. Allowing great relations with colleagues,clients and the practices patients. One late night surgery also any Saturdays or Sunday worked a day in lieu for a day off during the week. No OHH’s. Weekends are on a seven-week rota basis with three weekends off, two weekends working a Saturday in the three other surgeries.  Good Holiday allowance also.

General all round medical competence is essential, with a must for all routine neutering,Caesars,simple bowel surgery and splenectomy. Working alongside a highly trained team, which is dedicated with veterinary surgeons and nurses supported by skilled administrative, reception staff. The practice is committed to training and development to allow the latest knowledge and treatment modalities.

Surrounded and supported by surgeons that are experts and have special areas of interest which they excel. Each surgery has a nurse manager to ensure the surgery day to day running.  All 4 locations are fully equipped with digital radiography facilities, theatres and US scanners. Salary negotiable depending on experience and competence with review after 6 months based on business performance and productivity!
