Description | This approved Independent practice is looking for a good all rounder to be able to handle their mainly Small Animal and Exotic caseload. However there may be a small percentage of zoo, wildlife, large and some equine. Their high level of specialist equipment allows extensive work-up and management of both medical and surgical cases in house. There is very little need to refer. With a great team of 6 vets and 8 nurses this practice can offer support and mentorship to new or recent graduates as well as development and CPD for those with more experience. There are always two vets at the main site when completing ops and procedures and although there may be some light sole charge at the branch this is carefully scheduled depending on confidence and ability levels. They provide non-arduous on-call support (pager carrying) to their own clients. The rota being: 1 in 5 weeknights & 1 in 5 weekends. Self-contained accommodation an be provided away from the practice but locally. Applicants will need to drive, however the practice can provide use of a car short-term if needed. This position would suit confident candidates who relish a busy working environment and enjoy a rota which includes out of hours. | |
