Description

Would you like to work in a progressive large animal veterinary role?

In a veterinary business that is investing heavily in the continued development of its services to farms?

With clients that include many large, progressive dairy, beef and sheep farms?

In line with the continued growth of the CVS Farm practice network in the UK, we currently have opportunities available for locums, recently qualified and experienced vets to join us in farm and mixed veterinary roles. Alongside this, we also expect to have opportunities arising in 2018 to take on Clinical Director and Supervisory Vet roles as we expand and develop further.

We have some brilliant farm practices in CVS with long term established clients and we are passionate about further developing the services we offer them. Many of our practices also have minimal TB testing, or, dedicated team members that carry this work out, so that you can really concentrate on satisfying farm animal veterinary work. All of our current roles will offer you the opportunity to take on the management of large, progressive dairy, beef and sheep farms.

Alongside salary packages that start from £30,900 for newly qualified vets, up to more than £60,000  for experienced and leadership practitioner roles, we also offer a host of additional benefits, such as:

  • Bonuses
  • Pension scheme
  • share save scheme that allows you to share in the success of the company
  • Further, if you are relocating, we are also able to offer generous financial support towards this

We have large animal vets working in part-time and job-share roles in our farm practices and this is something that we actively encourage, in order to make sure our farm vets and teams have the work life balances that work for them. So if you are seeking more flexible hours than the typical full-time vet role, we would appreciate the opportunity to talk to you.

Professional development is very important to us and alongside a dedicated annual CPD allowance and dedicated time off for this, we also have opportunities for fully funded certificate sponsorship.

Please apply to find out more please apply, or, for informal enquiries, please contact James Kennedy BVMS MBA MRCVS, CVS Farm Director via james.kennedy@cvsvets.com or 07852 118164.
