Our client in North London is looking for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join them in their multi vet hospital.
The role is a mixture of days and nights, meaning that it is fully exposed to all aspects of veterinary work in the hospital, including emergency admits and consults. Our client would be happy to support recently qualified applicant. You will be given a rota with the following pattern: working alternate weeks at night  - 7 nights on 7 nights off. Then the next 6 weeks on days.

Essential Experience

• Small animal medical and routine surgical experience
• Experience with face to face consultations
• Ability to lead when the most senior person on shift or in the room
• Worked as a Vet in a busy hospital or practice

Desirable Experience

• Experience working as a Night Vet
• Previous experience in a 24-hour Emergency Critical Care Centre
• Awareness of the operational aspects of the practice that affect practice profitability
• Having worked in a sole charge role

Personal Skills & Qualities

• Self-aware, positive attitude and receptive to change
• Effective communication skills within the team and with clients
• Ability to work as a strong contributor to a team

Easily commutable from Brent Cross, Camden, Kensal Green, Hampstead and Central London.
