We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head Vet to join our fast-paced practice in Reading. Our ideal candidate would need a minimum of 3 years’ UK experience and be competent in all routine surgeries. We are seeking someone who has both OV status and can be a clinical coach for new graduates. Our practice is very busy, often with 20+ ops per day. It is spacious and well equipped, including digital x-ray, consult rooms, separate kennels, cattery, prep and theatre. Our team consists of 5 Vets, 2 RVNs, 4 ANA’s and 5 Receptionists. There is also a dedicated Head of Practice. The position is 40-hours per week, with 1 in 3 weekends (days only) for which time in lieu will be given, late evenings and bank holidays are on a rota basis, but no OOH.
