Excellent opportunity for a Large animal vet to join a friendly and growing farm team.

Based in Lancashire, close to Preston this established practice are keen to recruit an experienced vet into their large animal department, ideally with a with a dairy focus.

The practice mainly deal with herd health with minimal TB testing. They use cutting edge facilities including laparoscopic and most of the team have diplomas in Bovine reproduction or are Cert AVP (cattle) holders with practice more than happy to support this level of CPD with a new team member.

With 7 vets in the large animal team, the practice work on a rota of 1:5 OOH’s and weekends. However as part of the larger practice with over 20 vets, they have strong social activities and enjoy a great social and friendly environment.
