Parkvets is looking for an experienced vet to join its busy tier three hospital team. The role is partly consulting, covering a 2 hour consulting slot from 6pm – 8pm, and partly critical care oriented with the focus being on emergencies and in-patient until 10pm when we handover to the night team.
Diagnostics are an important part of their work and you will be encouraged to work up cases during the latter part of the evening, and to refer cases to day vets when appropriate.  Because the team is strong and supportive, your cases can remain under your management with daytime input from colleagues if you wish.
Parkvets actively supports the development of skills and knowledge through a CPD allowance and additional time off.  Vets wanting to undertake a certificate will be given greater financial support and time.
Parkvets has all the equipment you would expect of a hospital along with separate cat and dog wards, 3 theatres, 2 dental suites, 2 imaging areas and a visiting MRI.
