Description

Your New Practice:You will be our New Graduate Vet Surgeon for our two site, dedicated small animal practice. You will be working in a very modern purpose built clinic which is keen on preventative healthcare. Your new workplace has great transport links and has onsite parking for your car. The group consists of the hospital and a branch clinic in nearby Lisburn, 5 vets including 2 studying for Certificates in Advanced Veterinary Practice, 6 RVN’s, 1 SVN 4 nursing auxiliaries and reception staff.  We have a range of modern equipment and we are a training practice with SQPs.

Your New Role: You will have a great rota with a 4 day week and a 1:4 out of hours rota.  There are nursing staff in the hospital 24 hours a day to assist you. Your medical skills will be used to their full potential and additional professional development is supported and encouraged. You will be exposed to a range of different duties and experiences in order for you to find your preferred role.

What you need to succeed: you will need to be registered with the RCVS by the start date of the programme in order to be eligible. You will need to be keen to take on any professional development opportunities that are available and committed to starting a career as a Vet.
