Your New Practice:

You will be our New Graduate Veterinary Surgeon for our busy, well-equipped, Tier 3, 24-hour Small Animal Hospital. You will be working in a modern, progressive clinic which is keen on training and supporting new graduate vets. Your new practice has great transport links and onsite parking for your car. You will work alongside a team of experienced and supportive vets, nurses and support staff, with a varied case load and interesting cases. Your new practice has invested in a range of equipment in order to provide you with the best possible working environment

Your New Role:

You will be working 1 in 4 weekends on a rolling rota basis and will have the opportunity to do optional extra OOH shifts (with good rest time back) for additional income and experience, but this is primarily a daytime only role. Your role will be a varied mix of consulting, operating and time spent on inpatient care to enable you to develop in your preferred area of interest and you will be instrumental in helping to maintain our high level of client and patient care.  You will be joining our two year new graduate programme which provides a new graduate with the essential skills and experience in a veterinary practice. This programme will give you the chance to develop and learn alongside highly skilled vets and nurses.

What you need to succeed:

You will need to be registered with the RCVS by the start date of the programme in order to be eligible. You will need to be keen to take on any professional development opportunities that are available and committed to starting a career as a Vet.
