NEW CEO FOR YOURVETS
Midlands based YourVets has appointed ex CVS Regional Manager Janet Martin as Company CEO, beginning from April 1st this year when current MD Jonathan Stirling moves sideways to the post of Director of Business and Strategic Development.
Janet spent twelve years in various managerial positions at CVS and the last twelve months at YourVets as CEO Designate, and is looking forward to the challenges ahead. Janet tells us she was immediately won over by the Company’s service offering: “ YourVets has developed facilities that would be the envy of most of the profession, with a highly ethical approach to general small animal practice, and I am very proud to be working with such an excellent group of people, both at Head Office and at Practice level.” Janet is in the final stages of studying for an MBA at Warwick Business School and is finding the experience has added a new dimension to her role as CEO.
When asked about her main objective for the coming year Janet informed us that her chief challenge was to grow the business and maintain its healthy profit margin. Her underlying objective is to make YourVets a “first choice” employer for the Profession, and there are already signs that she is fulfilling that ambition through the increasing number of unsolicited applications from Vets wishing to work with this dynamic young Company.
