Briar House Veterinary Surgery celebrate being crowned Best UK Vet 2018

Staff, clients and pets of Briar House Veterinary Surgery joined together recently to celebrate the practice being crowned Best UK Vet 2018 following their dedication to customer service and outstanding care.

The award came after 12 months of hard work from the practice encouraging pet-owners to leave reviews on www.VetHelpDirect.com and www.Any-UK-Vet.co.uk, who sponsor the competition, aiming to promote high quality customer service in vets across the country. Briar House achieved a staggering 944 four and five star reviews, more than any other practice in the UK.

Susie Samuel, founder of the awards, spoke about the importance of the title, ‘The exciting thing about BestUKVet is that it’s the clients who decide the winner. The pet owners that rely on Briar House Vets for their pets' veterinary care used words such as 'respectful', 'caring', 'kindness', 'understanding', and a record 944 clients left positive reviews, which is a huge testament to the outstanding service this veterinary practice so obviously provides.’

The Mayor of Broadstairs and St. Peter’s, Councillor Peter Shaw, also attended the event, and spoke of his experience as a client of the practice, ‘We are delighted to be here to help celebrate this wonderful achievement.  We have a personal connection to this practice, as a previous client, they provided excellent service to our much-loved departed cat at a very difficult time.'

Dane Walker, Veterinary Surgeon and Practice Owner, commented on the win, "This award is very well deserved, the standard of care the team provides is phenomenal and I am hugely proud of the whole team here at Briar House Vets."
