Free CPD and half price insurance through Agria and Improve International partnership

Veterinary CPD specialist Improve International and specialist pet insurer Agria have created a partnership set to benefit veterinary professionals across the UK.

Launching on 5th April 2018, every practice working with Agria will be given free six-month subscriptions for practice staff to access a wide range of Online Bitesize CPD modules from Improve International. Additionally, every delegate taking part in any of Improve’s CPD courses during 2018 will gain access to six months’ half price pet insurance with Agria.

Online Bitesize CPD modules cover topics including; Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Small Animal Medicine, Feline Medicine, Exotic Animals and more. Modules are 20, 40 or 60 minutes in length and provide veterinary professionals with engaging, interactive experiences which count toward annual CPD requirements in short convenient bursts, earning digital badges and certificates to demonstrate total CPD achieved.

At over 127 years old, Agria is the world’s oldest pet insurer. Specialising in lifetime policies only, Agria works closely with vets and rehoming organisations and underwrites insurance for both the Kennel Club and Governing Council of the Cat Fancy.

Improve International is one of the UK’s leading veterinary training companies with a 20-year track record in providing structured CPD to veterinary professionals. Its programmes help develop skills and knowledge using a combination of review lectures, case-based discussions and where applicable, hands-on practical sessions. Improve works closely with its assessment partners, ESVPS, and Harper Adams University, which provides the higher education body quality assurance.

Improve International’s John Douglass commented, “Our delegates choose to invest in CPD with Improve because they are confident in the high quality of the programmes we provide and of the tangible benefits their new skills will bring, both to them as individuals and to their practice.

“We are constantly looking for practical ways to reward their loyalty and to offer additional benefits to them. Our partnership with Agria is the latest example and we hope that many of our delegates will take up the offer of half price pet insurance.

“We also hope that veterinary professionals who have not yet experienced our training will take up the opportunity to trial our Online Bitesize CPD for six months at no cost. The interactive modules we have created are led by recognised experts and will help them to refresh their knowledge, learn new skills and achieve their annual CPD points quota online at any time.”

Nick White, Head of Veterinary Channel at Agria, said, “We’re delighted that our partnership with Improve International will give veterinary professionals free, instant access to high-quality and engaging CPD. Not only are the modules available varied and highly relevant, the ‘bitesize’ nature of the training makes it extremely convenient for busy practice staff to access.

“This is a great incentive for any practices not yet working with Agria to get onboard. As well as benefitting from free CPD, practices will also be working with a specialist lifetime insurer offering 5 weeks free insurance policies and much more for clients and their pets.”

This exclusive offer launches at BSAVA Congress on 5th April 2018. Contact your Agria Business Development Manager for more information or visit www.agriapet.co.uk/bitesize and complete the Contact Us section, using ‘FREE CPD’ in the subject line of the enquiry box.
