Boehringer hosts ‘Inspiring CPD’ meetings

Boehringer Ingelheim is hosting a series of seven complimentary equine airway disease CPD meetings around the country to give veterinary surgeons an opportunity to update their equine airway disease knowledge.

Presented by some of the country’s leading experts on equine respiratory disease, speakers include: Dr Scott Pirie from University of Edinburgh, David Rendle from Rainbow Equine Hospital, Dr Tim Brazil from Equine Medicine on the Move, Phil Ivens from Buckingham Equine Medicine Referrals and Prof. Andy Durham from the Liphook Equine Hospital.

The clinical lectures will cover content that should be immediately relevant to an equine vet’s respiratory caseload.  In addition, there is a workshop entitled ‘The Influential Vet’, an unmissable interactive seminar that will help veterinary surgeons to improve their client relationships, increase their personal influence and manage difficult situations.

“We know that our customers like to feel fully equipped when dealing with RAO,” comments Clare Turnbull, equine brand and technical manager at Boehringer. “So we are delighted to be able to bring up to date, high quality and innovative equine CPD to our customers. The Influential Vet workshop will provide the soft skills that can help put this knowledge into practice – we hope our customers will leave feeling not just informed, but inspired too.”

The CPD meetings take place in: Hinckley, Leics on Tuesday 16th February; Knutsford, Cheshire on Thursday 18th February; Chelmsford, Essex on Tuesday 23rd February: Ripon, North Yorks on Thursday 24th February; Peebles, Scottish Borders on Wednesday 2nd March; Hickstead, West Sussex on Tuesday 8th March and Bridgwater, Somerset on Thursday 10th March.
