New Bolton hospital opens its doors to 2000 clients in first month

Not for Profit veterinary group Animal Trust welcomed 2000 clients through the doors of its new hospital in August, its first month of opening. The high spec hospital, capable of treating over 50,000 pets per year is the biggest centre of its kind in the North West and staffed by an ever-growing team of fully-qualified vets and nurses. Despite the costs of providing state-of-the-art care, the hospital still keeps to its commitment of offering free consultations and subsidised treatment to all pet owners, regardless of means.

Group Director Owen Monie wanted to thank all those who have helped to spread the word about the new hospital and the practice’s ethos, “So many people have come to us through recommendations from their friends and sharing on social media such as Facebook. It’s very much the community reaching out to help other pet owners. Because we’re committed to providing affordable pet care to everyone, we rely on this word-of-mouth. It helps us get enough people through our doors to be able to sustain our business model as a Not for Profit company. We really believe in what we’re doing here, and the Bolton community seems to be fully behind us.”

Pet owners can register with the Animal Trust through the group’s website www.animaltrust.org.uk  and come to any of its three clinics. Free consultations are available for all sick and injured pets, and provision is not means-tested.
