Young Vets: Students to be followed in new BBC Two series

Students in their final year at the Royal Veterinary College will be followed for a new BBC Two series that starts on Tuesday.

Young Vets will focus on what happens when the new vets get their first hands-on experience. The ten-part series will see the students in surgery and in the field, as well as focusing on some of the animals being treated.

Each episode follows ten students from the Royal Veterinary College through the ups and downs of their final year at Vet school until they graduate. The show also features pets that are brought into the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals where the students are trained in all of the veterinary specialties they may choose to work in during their future careers.

Young Vets is going to be shown weekdays at 7pm on BBC2 from Tuesday 19th August.
